Mesquite reporter Au’Janai “Jai” Phillips takes us for a tour around Texas A&M University-San Antonio’s new library located in Business and Library Hall.

The new university library has approximately 40 study rooms, including a family study room and a reflection room where students can take a break from their day and reflect.

Au’Janai (Jai) Phillips is a communications senior at Texas A&M University-San Antonio minoring in English. She transferred from Cisco College in Abilene, Texas in February 2021, where she graduated with honors. In her spare time, she likes to read fiction books, write short stories, take photos, and listen to music. After graduating, she hopes to surround herself with books and explore her artistic side. She wants to focus on her writing and become a published author in fiction, wanting people to connect with her writing as she has with other authors. Having a passion for books, she hopes to become a popular fiction writer.
