Ava Bustos
Ava Bustos is the Advertising Director and Calendar Editor for The Mesquite. She joined the team Summer 2012 to report on parenting education programs at Wesley Health and Wellness Center for The Mesquite’s special issue on health care and family wellness. Ava is a communications major minoring in sociology. She is a 2005 Burbank High School graduate and transferred to A&M-San Antonio from San Antonio College where she received her associate’s degree in liberal arts in 2011. Ava reported for The Ranger, San Antonio College’s award-winning student newspaper. She is the mother of two daughters.
