Summer 2020 classes will be held online at Texas A&M University-San Antonio, President Cynthia Teniente-Matson announced in an email to the campus on April 1.
“We made this decision now in order to give you as much time as possible to plan and adjust your schedules,” Matson wrote.
The shift to online courses includes all of the Maymester and first five-week, second five-week, eight-week and 10-week summer classes.
Matson said the Registrar’s office will begin moving the courses to an online mode of delivery and remove the classroom location. The Registrar will be adjusting summer schedules for those who have already registered for the semester.
For questions about online summer classes, students should contact their academic adviser.
The Student Academic Success Center is offering remote tutoring and academic coaching for students in need of assistance and help to be successful, Matson wrote.
