An ambulance and San Antonio Fire Department fire engine were seen about noon today at Main Campus Building wheeling a woman on a stretcher from the library entrance.
Marilu Reyna, associate vice president of University Communications, said about 12:30 p.m., “I really am limited in information.”
She also said the incident occured on the third floor of Main Campus.
Reyna said she knew that a student was not doing so well, and that officers of University Police Department were handling the situation. She said they would make a report of the incident.
A reporter witnessed a woman wheeled out of the library entrance on a stretcher by four SAFD members and one UPD officer. The woman was crying as she held a compress on her neck area.
A UPD officer on the scene said he could not release information to The Mesquite. Students surrounding the area did not know what the cause was and had no information.
Reyna said she would release an incident report when UPD makes the report available.
