The Texas A&M University-San Antonio Jaguarettes Dance Team is scheduled to perform at a San Antonio Spurs pregame show if they can sell 50 tickets to the game by 11:59 p.m. Oct. 6.
The pregame show before the Spurs play the Memphis Grizzlies is at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 18 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio.
“This is a great opportunity to get our name out there,” Alejandra Peña, dance team manager said. “We represent ourselves as the dance team but we also represent the school and the community.”
The Jaguarettes are inviting everyone in the A&M-San Antonio community to buy tickets and help them get the opportunity to perform.
Alexandra Emoff, group sales representative at Spurs Sports and Entertainment, offered the team the opportunity, Peña said.
The Spurs are giving the opportunity to local San Antonio dance teams to make an appearance at the pregame and halftime shows.
“We have 80 available spots during the season for different dance teams to perform,” Emoff said. The teams include the Hill Country Tippi Toes and Texas Cheers.
The dance team’s page on JagSync and their Instagram page include links to buy the tickets and select seats. Pricing ranges from $25 to $55 depending on the location of the seats. To purchase a ticket, visit

This would be the first time the Jaguarettes will perform at an event of this level with a bigger audience, giving them the opportunity to represent the school and all the “Jaguar Nation.”
