The name Senator Frank Madla Jr. commands respect when San Antonians hear it, but what do our newer students know about his accomplishments? What drove and motivated him to serve our community and foster higher education on the South Side of San Antonio? What gave him the heart to help his community and the less fortunate while suffering his own hardships? For this project, we focus on Senator Frank Madla, to highlight and remember the man who was critical in creating Texas A&M University-San Antonio.
