On Sept. 14, The San Antonio City Council approved the largest budget in the city’s history. The $2.7 billion budget for 2018 – a five percent increase from that of the previous year – features an equity lens as one of its focal points, promising to allocate resources to areas in greater need and attention. The plan includes the South Side of San Antonio. In this series, we talk specifically about busing and talk to students and staff who rely solely on public transportation. Hear their voices.
