Brian Benavidez is a senior Communication major at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. In addition to writing for The Mesquite, Brian also founded the San Antonio Mural Ride, a tour operating business that takes local tourist around the downtown area showcasing the local street art in the area. Brian also stays busy with volunteering. He is the communication chair for Ride for Reading San Antonio, a local non-profit that delivers aged appropriate books to Title 1 schools.
