Bryan Garza is a communications sophomore with a minor in Spanish. Garza is an ex student-athlete who won an Athletics Award that named him the best Latino student-athlete in his school. He left behind his dream of becoming a professional athlete due to an injury, yet he wants to continue his journey in sports through media. Now writing at The Mesquite, Bryan is interested in covering sporting events wherever he resides. He plans to work for a well-known sports TV program.
