Kasandra Vela is a communications sophomore at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. In addition to being a full-time student, she works as a Peer Leader Director for the Office of First-Year Experience. Her motto is to always be kind and you will never know unless you try. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her dogs and reading. After she graduates, Kasandra plans to explore the world of leadership and creativity in the fashion industry and the role it plays in society.
