P.L. Ackroyd is a communications senior at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. In addition to reporting for the Mesquite, Ackroyd works full-time for the corporate offices of a global hospitality and travel company. Her dance group events and community volunteer work keep her busy. Being a mother to her three sons is the most important and rewarding job to her. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, dancing, hiking, biking and expressing her passion for activities within nature.
