Raúl Plata is a senior Communications major with a minor in Mexican American Latinx Borderland Studies. Born and raised on the Southside of San Antonio, he’s familiar with the community around Texas A&M University-San Antonio. He is working on obtaining his bachelor’s degree to pursue a career in journalism as a reporter/journalist. Raúl is also a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success organization on campus. In his free time, he likes spending time with family and friends, attending local cultural events and binge-watching shows on Netflix and Hulu.
