Mesquite on the Street: Students discuss return to campus, vaccines

While the COVID-19 pandemic continues, many schools and universities like Texas A&M University–San Antonio have been steadily transitioning back to their normal operations.

This fall, the university has brought back more face-to-face and hybrid classes so that new and returning students, faculty, and staff would have the opportunity to work and study on campus.

This reopen has put a lot more people on campus and in these available face-to-face classes. The Mesquite took to the streets to see how students are feeling about this change and what they’re doing to continue to protect themselves and others.

Amber joined The Mesquite in spring 2021 as a Photo and Multimedia Editor after transferring from the Alamo Colleges with an associate’s degree in communication. Amber has extensive experience in photography, journalism and radio, television and film.
