The Bexar County general election will be May 1. Voters will cast their vote for mayor, city council members and school board members, as well as voting on propositions such as A and B in the city of San Antonio.
With Election Day approaching, reporters from The Mesquite contacted candidates for San Antonio’s city council in Southside District 3, where Texas A&M University-San Antonio is located.
City council candidates were asked how they would work with school districts to increase opportunities for public school students to attend college.
For candidates who did not respond to The Mesquite, reporters and editors compiled data from their applications to appear on the ballot and from vote411.org’s voter guide.
