Texas A&M University-San Antonio University Library will be hosting a Holiday Craftstravaganza 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 5 in the library’s Collaborative Zone, Room 103.
“It’s a way for students to unwind,” said University Library Associate Jessica Burnette.
“We will also be offering snacks and drinks,” Burnette said. “Students can make some holiday gift tags or cards.”
Psychology freshman Ception Hernandez said she will be attending the Craftstravanga.
“I saw the event posted in the library when I came in to study and it doesn’t conflict with my schedule so I plan on attending,” Hernandez said. “I saw Oakley will be there so that was another reason for me to go.”
Hernandez said it would be her first event she attends on campus and she is excited that they will be able to make Christmas-themed night lights.
The University’s Victim Assistance Dog, Oakley, will be making an appearance.
“Our special guest is Oakley,” said Burnette. “Our students love spending time with Oakley so hopefully we’ll have some students come and stop by.”
All supplies will be provided for students. Students must bring their creativity.
