University to hold open meetings regarding expansion

Texas A&M University-San Antonio will host a series of informative sessions to discuss the future of the university on Jan. 26 and 27. Staff, faculty, students, citizens and university stakeholders are encouraged to attend.

The two days of sessions, called the Master Planning Kick-Off, will detail the projected enrollment growth and plans for welcoming the freshmen class of fall 2016. Also included in the sessions are plans for new buildings, student housing and additional programming.

University President Cynthia Teniente-Matson and CFO Darrell Morrison will be on hand at the sessions at both Main Campus and Brooks City-Base Campus. Sessions will occur throughout the day, geared toward different audiences. Here’s the full schedule:
