In this audio interview, Mesquite reporter Jocelyn Mireles interviews Eric Cooper, Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management on how Texas A&M University-San Antonio is preparing for first-year and sophomore students.

- Texas A&M-San Antonio is preparing for 600 new students broken down between 300 first year and sophomore students;
- As of early November, 484 applications were received;
- Student recruiting revolves around a 60-mile radius from the South Side of San Antonio, mostly directed at South Texas. Fifty percent of applicants are from Dallas, Houston, Austin, the Rio Grande Valley.
