Opinion: The two sides of the coin to the Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard case - The Mesquite Online News - Texas A&M University-San Antonio

The verdict is out on the Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard trial. The jury ruled in favor of Depp, granting him $15 million in damages for defamation caused by an op-ed written by Heard for the Washington Post in 2018.

The damages to both Depp and Heard happened well before a trial began. There needs to be a discussion about the consequences to both stars and what it means to those who speak up about abuse:
