TAMUSA Esports to hold first billiards tournament - The Mesquite Online News - Texas A&M University-San Antonio

The Department of Recreational Sports will host an in person billiards tournament Oct. 6. Pre-registration for the tournament began at 9 a.m. Oct. 2 in CAB room 105 and closes at 5 p.m.Oct. 5.

The tournament will be live streamed on Twitch on the Texas A&M University-San Antonio esports page.

“It should be fun. This is our first time doing something like this,” said Aaron Jaggers, assistant director of esports.

Jaggers said the tournament will feature commentators.

It’s just another cool way for our content crew to interact with the rest of the group,” Jaggers said.

Students are encouraged to register for the billiard tournament, where there will be 16 player cap.

 There will be prizes that will be unveiled a few days before the tournament.
