Lights of Esperanza held on Nov. 30, 2021 at Texas A&M University-San Antonio featured live music, activities and a light show. The event was held in the CAB Courtyard for the first time since 2019. Video by Amber Esparza.

Amber joined The Mesquite in spring 2021 as a Photo and Multimedia Editor after transferring from the Alamo Colleges with an associate’s degree in communication.
