Are you prepared for life after graduation?

Success Fest, the university’s first free career development workshops is ready to assist 3:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m Nov. 9 and 10 at Brooks City-Base Campus.

Bennett Grey, career advisor for the office of career services, said he wants students to be aware of the workplace environment.

“Success Fest is geared towards expanding information [students] wouldn’t get in the classroom,” Grey said.

Success Fest is organized to assist students from all majors, and in all stages of career development.

Each workshop is free to attend for all students and alumni.

Grey said he made arrangements to have guest speakers attend the workshops so that employers can share with students what they are looking for in a prospective employee.

“We are trying to get an employers point of view,” he said.
