Transfer Student Engagement is hosting its second annual Spring Transfer Week March 14 through March 19 on campus. Transfer Week is an opportunity for transfer students and non-transfer students alike to get to know the university campus and Jaguar community by participating in special events.

Transfer Student Engagement will host two kickoffs March 14 in the Central Academic Building courtyard, providing free food and swag for students. The morning kickoff is from 10 a.m. to noon and the evening kickoff is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Juan Espinoza, assistant director for Transfer Student Engagement and coordinator of Spring Transfer Week, said he wants students to know this week highlights transfer students, but students are Jaguars through and through, whatever label students chose to use.

“And we are going to celebrate that,” Espinoza said.
