Fridge Frenzy

I did not clean the fridge before taking this photo. Photo by Hilary Martinez.

You are what you eat, and that all starts at the fridge. The primary fridge that I find myself rummaging around in is my boyfriend’s fridge. The contents of the fridge contain two chickens, yes two. This is because last week while we were at HEB grocery store, we decided to get a roasted chicken for dinner. However, we ended up leaving with two roasted chickens because we could not decide on which flavor. There is also the coffee lovers size and the french vanilla bottles of CoffeMate. We love our coffee! The typical condiments such as salad dressing, mayo, mustard, ketchup, pickles, and so on are found on the side door. There is Pepsi that we got in bulk at Costco a month ago when we decided to buy lots of groceries to last us a while, so far that is the last thing left. Oh wait, the salsa is from that trip. I should probably throw out sometime soon. Then there is humming bird food, we love to sit on the back porch and watch the birds! There are his protein shakes and juice bottles. In the middle section are turkey patties wrapped in foil from last week that I saved for his lunch the next day. I guess they were not that good considering they are still there. And then there is the cake that his mother made….. I am not much of a dessert person and she keeps sending over desserts. Basically, I end up just cleaning up the dishes. So that is what is in our fridge this week, until the next grocery run!
